During the week Tim works as an auditor. At the weekend he’s at the helm, quite literally: teaching anyone who’s willing, from curious children to adult learners. Two very different settings, yet the principles and energy overlap.
“On complex audit projects I collaborate closely, communicate clearly and share knowledge. It’s the same on the water,” Tim explains. When the wind shifts there’s no time for doubt: you act swiftly, align clearly and trust your crew to move with you. The same speed, composure and mutual trust are essential in large audit engagements.

Lisa likes to set goals. She exercises at least three times a week, but her other great passion is pottery. A craft that blends patience, precision and a feel for form.
“Pottery demands timing and an eye for small details,” Lisa explains. She brings the same approach to her work as a recruiter: clear objectives, a steady overview and careful tracking of progress. “I set concrete goals so you can course‑correct as you go. Just as a vase rarely turns out perfect on the first go, recruitment calls for ongoing refinement.”
For Lisa, pottery isn’t an escape from work but a source of inspiration - it gives her a fresh perspective and sharper focus.
Xander Lambertink
"My homelab is a testing ground where it's okay to fail and to come back stronger."
Xander has a proper homelab at home: not just one PC but several mini‑servers, network switches and his own router. For him it’s a safe place to experiment without putting client environments at risk.
“In my homelab I work with Infrastructure as Code (IaC): in short, I manage infrastructure as programmable code. I also build CI/CD pipelines that automate deployments and help ensure stability. These are exactly the techniques organisations increasingly expect from us. My homelab is a testing ground where it's okay to fail and to come back stronger."
The link between his hobby projects and his day job is immediate. An idea he trials in the evening can become a client solution the next day. That continuous learning helps Xander deliver better‑tested, practical solutions to clients.
