- At least 5 years in security architecture or extended IT architecture role
- A degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience
- Relevant certifications demonstrating architecture and security expertise, such as:
- TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework)
- CISM, CISA, CISSP, or CRISC
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect / Azure Solutions Architect
- Cloud Security Alliance CCSK or equivalent

How do you do this?
- Perform security architecture reviews during project delivery and security solution review initiatives, translating security requirements into implementable technical designs;
- Conduct threat‑led architecture assessments and provide clear cloud/security guidance to technical teams and stakeholders;
- Design end‑to‑end security solutions that balance risk reduction, compliance and operational efficiency, including cloud, infrastructure hardening and application security patterns;
- Assess third‑party and service‑provider architectures for compliance with security standards and advise on remediation;
- Present architecture assessments, security posture and recommendations to technical, risk and business stakeholders; represent security architecture in governance bodies as needed;
- Collaborate with IT, security and business units to embed security into BAU and support cross‑functional technical projects and IT architecture requests;
- Optimise cost‑effectiveness of security controls and architecture decisions;
- Enable capability building through hands‑on knowledge transfer, mentoring and technical acumen.
