What you will bring to this role as Senior Product Lead:

  • Proven product management experience in financial services or fintech, including responsibility for the full product lifecycle of banking or comparable digital bank products.
  • Deep product, platform, and process knowledge in one or more domains (payments, mortgages, lending, daily banking), including propositions, revenue models, and channel dynamics.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, able to secure senior sponsorship and operate effectively across functions.
  • Track record of at least one large-scale transformation or product repositioning (for example, core migration from a product perspective, re-platforming focused on product continuity, or redesign of processes or propositions).
  • Practical experience with agile/iterative product development and delivery models, with a strong focus on time‑to‑market and operational stability.
  • Thought leadership within your domain and experience acting as a sparring partner at executive/director level.
  • Experience embedding security, compliance, and risk controls into product design and leading cross‑functional teams with a delivery orientation.

As Senior Product Lead you are the strategic partner for banks seeking to strengthen and future-proof their product portfolios. You develop and translate clear propositions and commercial strategies for banking products and ensure alignment with customer needs, channel strategy, and corporate and risk frameworks. With your domain expertise you help banks deliver their largest transformations — from proposition to operations — with societal impact.

How do you do this?

  • Own and define the product vision, strategy and roadmap for banking products such as payments, mortgages, lending and wealth.
  • Develop and own omnichannel strategy and customer proposition design, including customer journeys, channel strategy and service design.
  • Lead customer discovery and validation (user research, hypotheses, experiments) and translate findings into clear product requirements.
  • Drive end-to-end delivery across discovery, development, go‑live and post‑launch optimization, including release planning and iterative improvements.
  • Define, track and act on product metrics; run continuous improvement cycles and surface outcomes and insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with architects, backend engineers and front‑end/UX teams to define the target technical and client‑facing architecture.
  • Lead or contribute to legacy modernization and re‑platforming efforts. Ensure product compliance with banking regulation, security, AML and privacy (GDPR) requirements.
  • Facilitate cross‑functional governance and stakeholder communications, secure senior sponsorship and align governance for decisive outcomes.
  • Explore and evaluate innovative ideas and emerging technologies, translating them into viable propositions
